Tottenham Hotspur have had a hit-and-miss start to the current season.
Mauricio Pochettino's side began the campaign in fine form, winning back-to-back league games against West Ham United and Queens Park Rangers, before losses to Liverpool and West Bromwich Albion and draws against Sunderland and Arsenal saw their early momentum fade.
A home win against Southampton prior to the international break has hopefully set them back on the right course, but during said break, here is a look at the Tottenham players who know how to hit the target - with varying degrees of success and regularity.
With Soldado in particular it appears to be a confidence issue, because there is absolutely no doubt the Spaniard can score goals, but just one attempt - even if he has only featured for 39 minutes in the league so far - is simply not good enough.

There are four Tottenham players who have managed a 50 per cent shooting accuracy so far this season, but it is a comment on Pochettino's attacking options that only one of those has scored a goal, well, two goals actually.
Eric Dier has already had four goal-scoring attempts, two of which found the back of the net, and given his impressive range there is no reason the England under-21 international cannot add far more to his tally before the campaign is done, even if his main role is keeping them out at the opposite end.
Of course forcing the 'keeper into a save and finding the back of the net are two very different things, but Dier is proving that if you have a go, you may be rewarded.
If only Soldado had the same thinking, in which case he could still become the prolific front-man Tottenham hoped they were signing last summer.
