Here are the top five passers for Newcastle United in the league this season.
Newcastle United's summer transfer dealings suggested they could be set for a very exciting Premier League campaign.
The additions of the likes of Jack Colback, Siem de Jong and Remy Cabella all appeared canny pieces of business, but for now Alan Pardew's new signings and more familiar stars have failed to gel on a consistent basis, leaving the Magpies 18th in the league going into the international break.
Newcastle will soon get the opportunity to start climbing up the table, but in the meantime, here is a look at the club's top five passers in the league this season.
Top of the pile is Jack Colback, who has an accuracy of 89.97 per cent from a total of 309 passes. It is a fine record but it is somewhat telling that no Newcastle player has managed to get over 90 per cent - a figure they must be aiming for in the weeks and months ahead, especially when it comes to their defenders.
Speaking of which, only one defender makes it into the top five, in the former of Fabricio Coloccini, while Ayoze Perez's cameo appearances have seen him achieve an 88.24 per cent passing accuracy despite appearing for less than an hour across six matches.

Cabella will no doubt be disappointed with his contribution so far, but he does at least manage to find his intended target with the majority of his passes.
But while fans may wonder why we are looking at something so basic when Newcastle struggle for goals and subsequently wins, it is the simple stuff that leads to the victories.
