Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho says he rejected two approaches from Paris St-Germain to become the French club's coach.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho says he could have been PSG manager instead of Chelsea boss.
The 'Special One' admits he was even tempted by the offer.
He told French channel TF1: "I turned down Paris twice. I think I can say I was the first option for Leonardo.
"Before Carlo Ancelotti? Yes. Before Laurent Blanc?
"Yes. I really thought about it, but I was at Real Madrid the first time and the second time I returned to Chelsea."
Had he joined PSG, Mourinho would have had the opportunity to work with his former Inter star Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani, a player he once admitted he wanted to bring to Chelsea but cost too much.
PSG won the league title last season, unlike Chelsea in England, so it's unlikely they will be losing too much sleep over his rejection, even though the Blues knocked them out of the Champions League.
One thing is certain though, and that is that Mourinho would not have sanctioned a £50 million offer to sign David Luiz...
