Republic of Ireland manager Martin O’Neill has been speaking about Hull City player Brian Lenihan.

The former Cork City man arrived at the Tigers this summer, and he has already been called up for his country, with O’Neill revealing to Hull's official website a few thoughts on the player.

“Brian is delighted to be coming into the squad,” he said. “The reports have been finally, absolutely. Speaking to some of the lads here who are at Hull, they say he has settled in well.”

In other news, Hull’s under-18s have maintained their 100 per cent start to the season with a 4-1 win over Mansfield Town.

The Tigers won the match courtesy of goals from Harvey Rodgers, Jarrod Bowen (2) and Dev Morton, meaning they have now won their first five league games of the season.
