The Radamel Falcao pose that Manchester United fans could see frequently

Manchester United and Colombia international striker Radamel Falcao is high on confidence with two goals in his last two competitive matches.

When Radamel Falcao joined AS Monaco from Atletico Madrid last summer, he was easily the best and most lethal striker in the world.

The Colombia international did not have the best of times at the Ligue 1 club, though, as after a bright start in France goals started to dry up. Then came the serious knee injury in January that saw him miss the 2014 World Cup in Brazil in the summer.

Falcao, though, returned to action in style and was among the goals for Monaco in Ligue 1 this campaign before a making a season-long loan move to United on transfer deadline day.

The 28-year-old created chances and provided assists in his opening Premier League matches for the Red Devils, but he had to wait until the final game before the two-week international break.

The former FC Porto scored what proved to be the winning goal against Everton in United’s 2-1 victory at Old Trafford.

Then just days later in his first start for Colombia for almost a year, Falcao scored a goal and provided an assist as he led his country to a 3-0 victory over El Salvador in an international friendly at the Red Bull Arena in New Jersey.

Just like at Old Trafford against Everton, Falcao celebrated his goal for Colombia in style – an image that United fans will likely see frequently this season.

Falcao has regained his touch and is high on confidence. The deadliest striker in the world with a goals record in Europe that will embarrass many top players, the Colombian is set to make opposition defenders’ life a nightmare every time they face him.
