Nathan Redmond has revealed how he is helping keep Norwich City teammate Josh Murphy in line.
Murphy is rated as one of the more promising young players in English football and is currently part of the England Under-20 set-up.
The 19-year-old signed a professional contract with Norwich only in January 2013, but he has already established himself as an important player for manager Neil Adams’s side.
Redmond knows Murphy well from his England U18 and Under19 days, and has now revealed how he takes care of the youngster.
‘He's very grounded, he's a good boy’, the 20-year-old told PremierLeague.com. ‘He's not one of them to be lary – plus I keep him on his toes every now and again’.
Josh’s twin brother Jacob also plays for Norwich and for the England U20 side, and Redmond has words of praise for him as well.
‘I've known Josh from before I came to Norwich anyway from England U18s and U19s so when I came to Norwich I had someone to talk to, him and Jacob’, he added.
‘They're great young players. They just need to listen, to learn and to work hard, and they'll have a good future ahead of them’.
