One of Liverpool's hottest prospects reveals a little more about himself.
Rossiter scored on his senior debut for the Reds earlier this season, netting against Middlesbrough in the Capital One Cup, and while the game will forever be remembered for the penalty shoot-out that followed, it was the midfielder’s first chance to show what he can do at senior level and he grasped it.
Speaking in a recent question-and-answer session, the 17-year-old revealed a whole host of things, including the teammate he most admires and his ambitions in the game.
It is no surprise for a young Liverpool midfielder that the Reds player Rossiter most admires is Steven Gerrard, and while it is very early days, some are tipping him to ultimately step into the skipper’s shoes.
And as for his ultimate dream in football, having already netted on his debut in front of the Kop, Rossiter dreams of playing in the first-team for both Liverpool and England.
If he continues on his current trajectory, those ambitions should be fulfilled in due course.
