France beat Portugal 2-1 in a friendly in Paris, with several players with Premier League connections impressing.
Steve Mandana 7/10 - Winning a rare start at the expense of Tottenham's Hugo Lloris, who was on the bench with a groin strain, Mandana didn't have the most difficult game but did manage to produce a wonder save to keep out Cristiano Ronaldo.
Eliaquim Mangala 5.5/10 - The Manchester City defender continued to demonstrate the uncertain form of some of his recent club appearances, and Mangala was caught in possession early on, with Nani squandering the gifted chance.
Patrice Evra 6.5/10 - The new Juventus left back was eager to get forward down the left, even if he didn't manage to put in as many effective balls as he would like. Played a valuable role in Pogba's goal by passing for Benzema.
Raphael Varane 8/10 - Varane enjoyed a strong game at the back, using his pace well to cover throughout the game. The 21-year-old is destined to be one of Europe's best defenders with performances like this, even if he did bring down Joao Mario for the penalty.
Bacary Sagna 7/10 - Had a much stronger game than his Manchester City teammate Mangala, and like Evra on the other flank, brought a lot going forward. His shot was saved by Rui Patricio only for Benzema to convert the rebound.
Blaise Matuidi 7/10 - With the PSG star captaining his country, Matuidi led by example with his determined and committed display. Works very well alongside Pogba in what could be France's midfield to come for many years.
Paul Pogba 7.5/10 - The former Manchester United player was once again outstanding for France, fresh from his award for best young player at the World Cup. Dynamic enough to shine all across the pitch, his goal turned out to be the winner but his defensive work was just as important.
Mathieu Valbuena 6/10 - Put in some dangerous balls on set-piece duty, Valbuena was given free rein for much of the game but didn't really display the threat he has managed in recent outings for his country.
Yohan Cabaye 6/10 - Having a difficult time since moving back to France in the sense Cabaye has lost some of the confidence he possessed while at Newcastle. Struggling to be a key man at PSG and didn't stand out against Portugal either.
Antoine Griezmann 6/10 - The Atletico winger managed to operate reasonably well linking up with his teammates, but failed to offer much of a goalscoring threat himself despite having one good chance early on. Can do better.
Karim Benzema MOTM 8/10 - With the attacker continuing to be linked to a switch to Liverpool, Benzema put in the kind of display that would go down a storm at Anfield. Outshone his Real teammate Cristiano Ronaldo with his hard work, and managed to dispatch one simple effort for the first goal and play in Pogba for the second.
Moussa Sissoko 5.5/10 - Found the pace difficult going after replacing former Newcastle teammate Cabaye in the 71st minute.
Dimitri Payet 6/10 - Came on for Valbuena with 30 minutes left, and had to muck in as Portugal upped their game.
Morgan Schneiderlin 6/10 - Shored up the midfield after coming on for Antoine Griezmann.
Andre-Pierre Gignac - A late substitute for Benzema.
