Poland staged the biggest upset of the 2016 European Championship qualification campaign so far when they got the better of Germany 2-0 at home on Saturday.
The 2014 World Cup winners went into the Group D clash at the Stadion Narodowy in Warsaw as favourites, but it was the hosts who picked up the three points.
Arkadiusz Milik put Poland in the lead on 51 minutes, and Sebastian Mila added a second two minutes from full time.
One of the star players for Poland on the night was Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, who was barraged by Germany attacks throughout the 90 minutes. However, the 24-year-old kept everything out that was thrown at home, making no fewer than 14 saves.
It was a truly brilliant display from Szczesny for Poland against Germany, and one that led Arsenal fans to shower praise on him.
Following the match, Arsenal supporters took to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the performance of Szczesny. Below are the best reactions.
Had courtios put in that performance tonight everyone would be raving about it. #Szczesny— MisterMuzza (@MisterMuzza) October 11, 2014
