West Ham fans react on Twitter to Valencia's wonder goal against USA

Enner Valencia scored another fabulous goal for Ecuador against the USA on Friday night.

So Enner Valencia is at it again! And West Ham fans are delighted that their striker is taking his goal scoring form with him onto the international stage.

The more Valencia scores, the better the Hammers look for signing him during the summer transfer window. You have to wonder why other Premier League clubs didn't fight harder for his signature.

When Ecuador played USA last night, it was supposed to be all about Landon Donovan. But Valencia somewhat stole the show - or at the very least spoiled the party - with another sensational strike late in the game (see above). And it wasn't the first of its kind from the Ecuadorian, of course, as he almost won Match of the Day's Goal of the Month competition last month.

That strike, however, was his only goal for West Ham United so far this Premier League season. But, as Opta stats show, the promise is there.

Indeed, the 24-year-old has won seven dribbles when on the ball, while there is no doubt that he has one mean shot on him.

West Ham fans will hope he can produce more of the same once the international break is over. For now, though, they will simply bask in the wonder of Valencia's strike against the USA - which was so good it looked as though it had taken a deflection.
