United morning news: New twist in Dutch star link; Falcao scores again

A select round-up of the latest news relating to Manchester United

Long-term Manchester United target Wesley Sneijder has again been linked with a possible move to Old Trafford, after the Netherland’s international reportedly revealed he had not been paid by current club Galatasaray.

The Sun reports that Sneijder has claimed the Turkish side have not paid recent wages and that is said to have put a number of Premier League clubs on alert.

The Holland star has been one of the most regularly linked with United, since long before Louis van Gaal took charge of the club, but with the attacking talent on show at the club it remains to be seen where he would fit in.

In other news, Radamel Falcao was on the score-sheet for Colombia as they beat El Salvador 3-0 in the early hours of Saturday morning.

That is good news for United fans eager to see their loan star back to his best as soon as possible.
