Mathieu Debuchy has sent a message to his international teammates as they prepare for their friendly game against Portugal this evening.
The Arsenal right-back is unavailable after he suffered an ankle injury that subsequently ruled him out for three months, but he still took the time to wish the players selected tonight good luck.
Debuchy's absence is a huge blow for both club and country and whoever does play at right-back for France is likely to have a torrid time up against Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani.
As for the Arsenal star, he will be fully focused on rest and recuperation, as he looks to get back into Arsene Wenger's first-team plans as soon as possible.
The Gunners have suffered a number of injury blows in recent weeks, with Mesut Ozil recently joining Debuchy on the long-term-injured list.
