CONFIRMED: France vs Portugal line-ups - Lloris benched, Ronaldo starts as centre forward

Here is how France and Portugal will line up when they face each other this evening, including players from

France starting XI: Mandanda; Sagna, Varane, Mangala, Evra; Pogba, Cabaye, Matuidi; Valbuena, Benzema, Griezmann.

Portugal starting XI: Patricio; Cedric, Pepe, Bruno Alves, Eliseu; Tiago, Moutinho, Andre Gomes; Danny, Nani, Ronaldo.

Whilst most of Europe is taking part in Euro 2016 qualifiers, France and Portugal meet tonight in Paris for a friendly.

France, as hosts of the 2016 European Championships, have already qualified and therefore won't be involved in the qualifying phase. That means that manager Didier Deschamps has been able to experiment with his team, with goalkeeper Hugo Lloris dropped in favour of Marseille's Steve Mandanda, whilst Manchester City's Eliaquim Mangala starts alongside Raphael Varane in the heart of the France defence.

Portugal had a disappointed World Cup tournament, but manager Paulo Bento was only sacked after a shock 1-0 home defeat to Albania. Fernando Santos, who led Greece to the World Cup, has been appointed in his place and has started a new revolution for the nation.

In come Cedric, Elisu, Tiago, Andre Gomes and Danny in a new look side, whilst Cristiano Ronaldo has moved from his usual left wing slot in order to play as a centre forward - something many people have called for since the retirements of Nuno Gomes and Pauleta in the Portugal attack.
