All the major titles coming out between now and the end of the year for those in the market for new games this festive season

We realise it’s a little early to be talking about Christmas, but games-wise now is the time of year all the big titles are starting to launch in readiness for the holiday season. Whether you’ve been asked to get your nearest and dearest a specific game and wanted to check out its suitability, or if you just wanted to keep abreast of the new games coming out, we’ve put together a list of the major titles landing in the next few months with reference to prices (which may vary), available platforms, genre and ESRB age certifications.

In this, the first part of our buyers guide we focus on the games that have come out this week and are due to come out in October.

Alien: Isolation - October 7th

Synopsis: Racing simulation of this years Formula 1 season with all the teams and driver line-ups, new courses and the ability to start the game with the team of your choice (as opposed to being made to start with a team lower down the grid)
