Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Kenny Jackett anticipates being able to field Lee Evans and Nouha Dicko in Saturday week's match against Millwall in South London.
Both players have been recovering from injury, with Evans out with a hamstring problem and Dicko suffering from an Achilles problem.
“We’re hoping they will both be training next week at some stage,” said Jackett, as quoted by the club's official website.
Neither Evans nor Dicko were available for international selection, for Wales or Mali respectively, due to the injuries, which has thus allowed them to receive treatment at Compton.
Jackett hopes training will go well next week which will mean there will be no problems having one, or both, feature against Millwall in their Championship tussle.
“We would estimate the middle of next week at best for the pair of them," he added. “We’re hoping that for this next batch of games that they are fit.
“If by the middle of next week they are 100 per cent and look fine in training and do well, and most importantly are confident themselves, it does give us enough time.
“It is close. A day or two either way can make a big difference but we’re optimistic at the moment that both will be around by the middle of next week.”
