VIDEO: Manchester United outcast scores for Mexico

Javier Hernandez gave another indication that his loan spell at Real Madrid is working well for him by scoring for Mexico against Honduras.

Louis van Gaal may have made a wise decision in letting Javier Hernandez go out on loan to Real Madrid for the season.

After warming the bench for much of last term, Hernandez has been allowed to try and establish himself in La Liga and rediscover his scoring touch.

Mexico national boss Miguel Herrera has praised the decision and feels Hernandez is looking sharper and the player backed that up with a goal against Honduras.

The Honduran defending may not have been the best, but Hernandez finds some space and provides a lethal finish, reminding United fans of how good he can be.

Hernandez scored his first two goals for Real Madrid during their bumper 8-2 win over Deportivo La Coruna despite only coming on as a late substitute.

Although he became peripheral at Old Trafford in recent times, Hernandez had a respectable scoring record when he did get given a chance and had 37 goals in 102 appearances despite often having to settle for fragments of games.

If Hernandez keeps scoring then maybe he will convince van Gaal to give him a chance.
