The fourth instalment to the Skylanders series launches in Europe today.

The lastest game in the Skylanders franchise is now available in Europe, and to celebrate its launch some crazy individual decided to jump out of a plane, and play the game whilst in free-fall.

Dubbed the 'SkyTrappers', this team of skydivers 'were the first people in the world to trap a virtual villain while freefalling from 12,500 feet above earth and travelling at speeds of 122 miles per hour,' according to a press release. And we suspect they may be the only ones to do so in this way, unless you're thinking of giving it a go?

Skylanders: Trap Team is the fourth game in the series, and continues to use the Near Field Communication technology built in to its figurines and reader platform. It basically doubles up as a video game and a figurine collection where the figurines are used in-game as playable characters.

This time around the Skylanders will be trapping villains, which players can also use as playable characters too. Take a look at the playthrough of the Soda Springs level below to see some gameplay action.

Skylanders: Trap Team is available now on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii, Wii U, 3DS. The game is also up for grabs on iPad, Kindle Fire, and Android tablets alongside the consoles releases.
