Former Manchester United midfielder Roy Keane has decided to shave his beard on the eve of Republic of Ireland’s clash against Gibraltar.
The 43-year-old had grown a rather thick and conspicuous beard, but on Friday evening he decided to shave.
Keane’s decision comes just a day before Ireland’s Euro 2016 Group D match against Gibraltar at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin. The former Nottingham Forest star is Ireland’s assistant manager and will be at the game.
Ireland have made a winning start to their Euro 2016 campaign. Martin O'Neill ‘s side got the better of Georgia 2-1 at the Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena in Tbilisi last month.
