AS Roma are reportedly tempted to raid Manchester City for one of their midfielders in order to help them with their Scudetto push.
The Giallorossi have already acquired one renowned athlete from the Premier League in Ashley Cole, who left Chelsea in the summer. Since competing in the Italian division, Cole has returned seven tackles, five interceptions and six clearances while also proving accurate with 90% of his passing.
Now Roma may turn to another Englishman as they look to add James Milner to their roster.
That is, according to tomorrow's Mirror, as the British tabloid anticipate a potential £10 million offer to be made in the upcoming transfer window in January.
Milner is sporadically-used by Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini but, regardless, is still responsible for accomplished performances in the middle of the park as he has returned an average of 53 passes per match, has provided 13 key passes from five appearances and has also returned two assists.
Should other clubs receive alert that City are willing to do business, it could open up an auctioning process for the 28-year-old as Milner has previously been wanted by Tottenham Hotspur and Everton.
