It seems that Luis Pedro Cavanda is back in the fold at Lazio after a rocky spell that has seen him linked to Arsenal, Sunderland and West Ham.
The 23-year-old had been very much seen as back-up to Dusan Basta and Abdoulay Konko at the start of the season, but he seems to be turning things around.
Cavanda has become first choice at Lazio and seems to be content to stay put and build bridges with the club.
"Now I am creating a new opportunity for myself.
"The last game against Sassuolo was tough because they run so much down the wings and we conceded twice but dug deep to come through (it finished 3-2 to Lazio)."
It may be that Cavanda's potential suitors won't have such a good chance to luring him in January if he continues to play regularly at Lazio.
It is also possible that Cavanda's valuation, which had been rumoured to be around £4 million, could rise significantly.
