Chelsea morning news: Terry praises duo, Mourinho branded a 'disgrace'

A round up of news stories this morning about Chelsea.

John Terry has piled praise on teammates Eden Hazard and Andre Schurrle.

Terry has suggested the pair are working hard defensively to make sure the Blues are difficult to break down.

“We have had a few clean sheets on the bounce, defensively we have been doing very well, not just the back four, but it's also people like Eden, Andre coming back and able to go forward as well,” said Terry.

Roy Keane has lashed out at Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.

Keane criticised Mourinho’s decision to try and shake his and Paul Lambert’s hand during the recent win for the Blues against Aston Villa, as the match was still going on.

“The game is still going on. It’s disgraceful. I’ve seen him doing it to other managers – it is a disgrace,” said Keane.

Chelsea have been linked with an unlikely move for Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling.

Reports started emerging yesterday that the Blues were considering a big money offer for the England attacker.

Real Madrid have also been linked with a move though Liverpool are trying to get him committed to a new long term contract.
