Will he forgive his former manager?

Roy Keane has opened up about his tense relationship with former boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

The duo have famously been at odds in recent years and, asked whether he would forgive the former Manchester United manager for criticising him in his autobiography, Keane was philosophical but unsure in his response.

Keane is now releasing an autobiography of his own and says he is not sure how he will act if crosses paths with the Scot again.

Indeed, Keane told reporters at his book launch when asked if he could forgive Ferguson: “Not sure, not sure.

"Football is a small world, you will cross paths with people again. Will I bump into him again at a game or press conference?

"The problem I had, is that when you hope you have known someone for some time, it's afterwards when people start coming out with all sorts of nonsense.

"When you think what he made out of it, millions of pounds, statues, and standing. But to criticise people who have earned him success....would I forgive him? I don't know.

"If we cross paths. I'm sure we will....cross paths, that is. Lots of stuff I let go but eventually you have to go, enough is enough,. You have to defend yourself."
