Spain: Casillas, Juanfran, Pique, Albiol, Jordi Alba, Busquets, Koke, Fabregas, Iniesta, Silva, Costa
Spain take on Slovakia this evening hoping to make it two wins from two at the start of their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign.
Spain were superb in their first qualifying match against Macedonia as they ran out comfortable 5-1 winners thanks largely to the midfield performance of Manchester City star David Silva.
Silva grabbed a goal and provided the assist for Liverpool transfer target Pedro to score the final goal of the game in a match where the Macedonians didn’t stand a chance.
Spain definitely still have a point to prove after a flat World Cup defence over the summer, which saw them knocked out at the group stage.
Slovakia will be underdogs for the game but by no means pushovers after they defeated Ukraine 1-0 in their opening match. They’re likely to defend deep and allow Spain plenty of the ball as they look to try and secure a point or even snatch a late win.
