Activision announce that free next gen upgrades will be available for COD: Advanced Warfare.
Advanced Warfare, the next installment in Activision's blockbuster series Call of Duty, will be released in the UK 04th November 2014 and will be the second edition available for the PS4 and Xbox One. With some seriously enhanced graphics and a whole new scenario to play through this will no doubt be another smash hit for the COD series.
This week Activision announced that those players who purchase the digital copies for PS3 or Xbox 360 will, for a limited time only, be able to get a free upgrade to the PS4 or Xbox One versions. This offer is only available to those who purchase digital copies before 31st March 2015. As well as receiving a free upgrade all of your stats, DLC and Season Pass will also transfer for free so long as your Gamertag remains the same.
This will no doubt be great news to those who want to play the game as soon as it comes out but may well be upgrading over the festive season.
In addition to this news it was also announced that anyone who pre-orders the physical or digital Day Zero version of the game will be able to play the game one day before the general release date. Meaning you can get one days full practice in before your friends, that's surely worth doing?
