Wellington Silva signed for Arsenal in 2010 for £3.5 million, but he is yet to get even close to playing for the club.
The Brazilian prospect has been troubled by work permit issues, and has spent the entirety of his Arsenal contract out on loan.
He is presently with Almeria, where he is getting the huge benefit of finally playing top flight football, in La Liga.
Even featuring against Atletico Madrid from the start last month for the relegation battlers, Silva is enjoying his football and says he is no rush to head back to Arsenal.
"I do not want to think about the future, I'm having a good time, I like the city where I am, I like the club and here I get to do what I love most in my life.
"I hope it's a good year. It's perfect for me and for everyone."
Wellington, 21, has a contract with Arsenal for two more seasons, and has made four appearances on the wing for Almeria, three from the start.
He is still searching for his first goal, assist, or game-changing moment, but says he is very happy with his form.
"I'm very happy, I always said I would continue to work and was going to wait for my chance. Thankfully I had two real good games, with help from my teammates and that makes everything easier."
