The Liverpool duo met up for an unexpected 'class' while many of their teammates were away with their countries.
During the international break, many of Liverpool's players fly here, there and everywhere to represent their countries. But what of the stars who are not called up? How do they spend their time when so many of their teammates are away from the training ground?
Well Liverpool pair Jose Enrique and Fabio Borini appear to have taken part in a little bit of friendly competition, with the left-back tweeting his thanks to the Italian forward for partaking in a spot of ping pong on Tuesday.
However, the Spaniard appears to think he is teaching Borini, joking that future 'classes' would not be free.
While most eyes are on the international teams as they build up for their different qualifiers or friendly matches, there are plenty of top flight players left at home, leaving us to wonder what else they get up to during their down-time when the training grounds are virtually empty and silent...except for the sounds of ping pong balls on paddles of course.
Thanks @borinifabio29 for your time today playing at ping pong but I don't give you any more classes for free ata legoooo— José enrique (@Jesanchez3) October 8, 2014
