The Liverpool striker posted a video on Instagram of his younger cousin in action.
The Sturridge family have already produced one clinical Premier League striker.
Indeed, Liverpool have not looked the same team since Daniel Sturridge got injured earlier this season. The 25-year-old, who scored 21 league goals last term, has developed into one of the top-flight's most prolific front men.
But talent, it seems, isn't restricted to just the one Sturridge. On social media earlier today, the Reds striker posted a video of his younger cousin playing football - Dean.
The young Sturridge promptly took the ball gracefully, surged towards goal and finished with aplomb - not unlike his older relative.
And this wasn't just a casual game in the park. No, this was a striker scoring for the Aston Villa Under-13s.
Any more where that came from and there could be another Sturridge in the Premier League before long. His older cousin said on Instagram that he wishes he can play with him one day. Perhaps that will be when Villa travel to Anfield in a few years?
Villa's senior side have had an impressive start to the current season, meanwhile, only hitting a stumbling block during a run of tough fixtures.
They beat Liverpool when they faced them on Merseyside but Brendan Rodgers' men have since got back to winning ways in the Premier League.
