Terry on the new way Hazard and Schurrle are standing out for Chelsea

Chelsea's John Terry has praised Andre Schurrle and Eden Hazard for helping out in a defensive sense now.

John Terry says that Eden Hazard and Andre Schurrle are now standing out in a defensive sense for Chelsea.

The wing duo remain two of the most crucial attacking stars in the Blues' side, but Terry has been impressed by the willingness that they have shown in coming back to help out their teammates, too.

The experienced England international believes that their ability to help out the team was of paramount importance during Chelsea's 2-0 win against Arsenal at the weekend and he believes it is showing that the Blues are a complete side.

"We had the killer instinct going forward too so there was a bit of everything against a really good side," he said to the club's official site.

"Defensively we did very well but that’s not just the back four or the back five – it’s people like Eden and Andre dropping in and coming back but being able to go forward as well. That’s the key for me."

Chelsea are already strong favourites to win the title after their start.

Jose Mourinho's side are unbeaten through their first seven games in the league this season and they will be aiming to keep this run up when they return to action after the international break.

The side are looking like the complete outfit and already many pundits have tipped them to have the potential to keep their unbeaten streak up for the whole season.

Whether they can do this remains to be seen, as it would be a huge challenge, but they have unquestionably been the strongest team in the country so far.

Although Terry has pointed out a new way that the likes of Hazard and Schurrle are impressing, they are still showing their form in an offensive sense and it is in attacking areas where Chelsea have really impressed this year.

The side have looked considerably more dangerous going forward than they did last campaign and, if they continue to play at this level, they will surely be lifting the Premier League title in May.
