Report: Vidal price drops to £35m

After his recent off-the-field indiscretions, Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal's price tag is dropping, according to Tuttosport.

It was widely reported that Juventus wouldn't consider anything less than £50 million for Arturo Vidal in the summer, but now the Italian champions may be tempted with £35 million.

The Chilean international was one of Juventus's stars of last season and his value rocketed with reports that Manchester United were determined to sign him.

However, no concerted effort seemed to be made by United, who were reportedly worried by problems with Vidal's knee.

Vidal has again had injury issues this season but he has impressed when he has been on the pitch.

However, a picture surfaced in the Italian media of Vidal in a brawl at 5am on a night out in Turin and there are suggestions that his attitude has annoyed club officials.

Tuttosport is reporting that Juventus no longer regard Vidal as unsellable and could be tempted should an offer of around £35 million arrive in January.

It has been suggested that Vidal is keen on joining Manchester United but there may be a number of top clubs interested at a slightly reduced rate.
