Leeds fans have urged their side to hang onto young midfielder Chris Dawson.
Popular Leeds United Twitter account LUFC Polls has invited Whites fans to give their views on whether midfielder Chris Dawson should be allowed to go out on loan from the club.
Ex-first team head coach Neil Redfearn piled the praise onto Dawson for his performance in the 6-0 under-21 Premier League Cup win earlier this week, which showed the quality Dawson possesses for such a young man (20-years-old).
Dawson himself said this morning that he feels he may have no choice other than to leave the club on loan when he gets the chance to do so if he’s not going to get the chance to play in the first team under Darko Milanic.
At the time of writing, Leeds fans were reluctant to see the youngster leave the club due to his obvious talent and potential and perhaps a little wariness that a loan deal could open up the possibility of a permanent exit.
However, if Redfearn (the academy boss) has anything to do with it, that definitely won’t be an option for the club.
