“I think you cannot forget about other teams like [Manchester] United, Arsenal, Liverpool. I think Southampton are in good shape at the moment,” said the Argentine.
Manchester City midfielder James Milner says he’s hoping talks conclude shortly over a new deal for him at the Etihad.
Milner has been a consistent player for the side as they have won two Premier League titles in the last three seasons.
“We've been in talks with the club. We've talked about it and hopefully it can get sorted sometime soon,” said Milner.
Milner has also revealed that he’s learning Spanish in order to help some of his teammates settle in.
“It helps them (his foreign team-mates) out, it helps me improve as well. You have to because a few of the lads don't speak great English. His (manager Manuel Pellegrini) English is great so I don't really need to speak to him in Spanish,” said the midfielder.
