Blizzard's ARPG will receive plenty of additional features and areas in the upcoming 2.1.0 patch on consoles.

Over on PlayStation's blog Blizzard have announced today that the first major update for Diablo III: Reaper of Souls Ultimate Evil Edition is 'just around the corner.' Patch 2.1.0 will add in plenty of new features and improvements for those players that enjoy the game on console.
Included in the additional features are; the 'What's New' screen that allows players to see a quick overview of any new patches that have been applied; chance for a portal to appear after killing one of those pesky little Treasure Goblins in Adventure mode, this portal transports players to 'The Vault' which is full of loot and a new boss called the Baroness Greed.
Other additions include The Cesspools area which was originally the sewers of Westmarch, Greater Rifts that are increasingly difficult levels of timed dungeons, Ramaladni's Gift that allows items to be fitted with sockets, and the new powerful Legendary Gems .
There's no word of the update hitting other systems yet, but we'll keep you updated.
Patch 2.1.0 was implemented on PC and Mac last month, and a video showing the features included was also released.
