Because the two players who have propelled Chelsea to their excellent Premier League start will of course be on the same team when Spain take on Slovakia and Luxembourg this week.
Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas have proved to be the Premier League's best two buys of the summer - as they have guided Chelsea to the top of the summit.
Costa leads the charts for goals, Fabregas assists - the pair have a rare harmony that is filling Premier League defenders with absolute dread.
However, neither have really hit it off with Spain recently.
But one man who is backing them is Barcelona forward Pedro Rodriguez. He is quoted in Marca singing the praises of the two players - who could both possibly receive a start on Thursday considering their club form.
Pedro said of the Chelsea pair, in quotes relayed by Marca:
"He's [Diego Costa] very motivated and he'll make a big contribution for many years. I think he's very strong. He'll help us and he really wants to vindicate his presence in the team. The criticism of Cesc Fàbregas wasn't fair. He has a great vision of what's happening out on the field and he's showing his skills in England. He's getting the recognition he deserves there."
While his words will not please his current bosses at Barcelona, Chelsea fans will be glad to hear how Fabregas and Costa's efforts are not going unnoticed in the bigger picture.
If they play like they have for Chelsea on Thursday and Sunday the minnows they face will have no chance against the Spanish national team, and this Chelsea pair could become feared on a whole new spectrum.
