Manchester United's Ander Herrera says that it is a dream for him to be a Old Trafford after completing a transfer from Athletic Bilbao this summer.
Herrera has made a brilliant start to life at United and the Spaniard appears to be enjoying his time in his new surroundings so far.
The central-midfielder says that he knew about how big United was before he joined the club, but that his time with the Red Devils so far has helped him fully comprehend what it means to play for them.
"I always had a lot of respect for United. I knew that it was one of the best clubs in the world and one of the most recognised and most followed – I saw the statistics for that," he said to the club's official site. "It's a dream for me to be here but I have to work very hard if I want to be an important player at this great club."
"I have really enjoyed things and I am very happy, and I now understand how big the club is. In America on tour there were a lot of people supporting us and now in Manchester, when we play at Old Trafford and you see fans around the city, I understand even more."
Herrera has already netted twice in his four Red Devils appearances and looks to have added a new dimension to their play.
Although the side have been exposed defensively, they have proven to be much improved with their summer additions in the side and Herrera has been one of the shining lights.
He may not be as high profile a buy as Angel Di Maria or Falcao, but he has brought energy and style to the midfield ranks at Old Trafford and it was much needed.
The Red Devils are now in the top four of the table after a massive up-turn in form and they will be hoping to continue their progression after the international break.
Their first fixture is against West Bromwich Albion and Louis Van Gaal's men will be looking to make it three wins from four at the Hawthorns.
