James Wilson made his debut for Manchester United in the Premier League last season.
The youngster started the Red Devils’ clash against Hull City at Old Trafford in May and marked the occasion with two goals.
The 18-year-old striker is highly rated and is believed to have a bright future. And new United manager Louis van Gaal gave his first chance in the league this season on Sunday.
Wilson came on as a substitute for star summer signing Radamel Falcao against Everton in their Premier League clash at Old Trafford.
The youngster was brought on in the 73rd minute and he gave a decent performance, as shown by the stats below:
|Team||Total Pass||Accurate Pass||Touches||Dispossessed||Successful Final Third Passes||Total Shots||Shots on Target||Appearances||Mins Played|
|James Wilson||Man Utd||6||4||9||0||2||0||0||1||17|
Wilson did not have any shot on target or otherwise, but getting four passes out of six accurate and two successful final third entries are good enough for an 18-year-old making his first league appearance of the season.
The teenager does indeed have a promising future and is likely to get more chances as the season progresses.
