Southampton star: I'd beat Yaya in an arm wrestle; Arsenal, Liverpool aces toughest opponents

Southampton's Victor Wanyama fielded a question and answer session.

Southampton midfield battler Victor Wanyama believes he could successfully take on Yaya Toure in an arm wrestle.

The Kenyan international was posed the question in a question and answer session run by the Premier League, and showed his self-confidence.

"That's difficult, I'm not going to challenge Yaya, he's a strong boy. We'll have to see, but I see myself winning."

He went onto add how proud he was to become the first of his countryman to score in the Premier League, before naming his toughest ever opponents, and there was an instant response to the question.

"Sanchez and Raheem Sterling. They are not easy to be playing against."

In terms of teams, he offered perhaps a more surprise choice: "Swansea, I would say, they are a bit tough.

"There are a lot of tough games, Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal as well."

Southampton host Manchester City on November 30, and the midfield clash between Wanyama and Toure could certainly be one to keep a close eye on.
