A picture has surfaced of Juventus star Arturo Vidal in a fracas outside a Turin nightclub at 5am, a night that may cost him £80,000.
Arturo Vidal is in the doghouse at Juventus after getting involved in a late night fracas outside a bat in Turin and this picture may end up costing him thousands in fines.
The Chilean spent much of the summer seeing his name linked to Manchester United, but in the end he stayed put after no concrete offer seemed to materialise.
There have been some signs that Vidal is unsettled though and he has also been dealing with fitness problems so far this season.
Reports surfaced in the Italian media yesterday that Vidal was in trouble for an incident outside a nightclub last week during which he was accosted by a group of men who were angry with his behaviour towards a woman in their group. Worse still, Vidal was out at 5.20am.
It is being reported that Vidal faces a massive fine and Juventus sporting director Beppe Marotta his indicated in an interview that he feels £80,000 'might still be too little'.
All in all, that's one costly night out...
It has been suggested that Vidal may be acting badly in order to make the point that he wants to be allowed to leave Juventus.
However, that would seem a strange way of attracting possible interest from Manchester United and manager Louis van Gaal, who is notoriously averse to players breaking club rules.
