Leeds United fans were delighted with Adryan’s performance against Doncaster Rovers in an Under-21 game at Elland Road on Monday.
Adryan has yet to made his senior debut for Leeds United, but he has no shortage of fans at the Championship club.
The 20-year-old Brazilian wonderkid was signed by the Yorkshire outfit on a season-long loan deal from Flamengo in the summer.
The youngster is highly rated and is said to be a future star, but so far he has not played a single minute of competitive football for the senior team.
Adryan was named among the substitutes for Leeds’ clash against Sheffield Wednesday in the Yorkshire derby at Elland Road on Saturday.
The attacking midfielder even warmed up in the second half, but manager Darko Milanic did not bring him on as the Championship game ended in a 1-1 draw.
However, Adryan was in action for the club’s Under-21 side on Monday evening. The youngster started the match against Doncaster Rovers at Elland Road and helped the team book a place in the main draw of the Premier League Cup.
Adryan had a good game and showed his class on several occasions. He was unlucky to see his curling free kick clip the near post, but he scored his first goal for Leeds on the stoke of half time with a cool finish past Doncaster goalkeeper Jonathan Iveson.
Just minutes into the second half Adryan teed up Noel Hunt to score Leeds’s fourth goal of the evening. It eventually finished 6-0 to the hosts.
The Leeds fans watching the game at Elland Road were clearly delighted with Adryan display and mobbed him to take pictures.
