Inter Milan interested in striker's services.
Fabio Borini is persisting with his Liverpool career, but will he last until May?
The striker rejected summer switches to both Sunderland and QPR, preferring to remain on the fringes at Anfield.
The Italian should perhaps be commended for fighting for his career at the club, but even with Daniel Sturridge out injured he has failed to grasp his chance.
Now it is being reported in Italy that Inter Milan want to take him on loan in January, to bolster their attack.
Such interest would surely be difficult for Borini to turn down. He would not be leaving for a Premier League also-ran or relegation battler, but to one of the most recognisable teams in his homeland.
Winners of Serie A on 18 occasions and European champions three times, most recently in 2010, Inter possess a rich history of success similar to Liverpool.
A loan deal too would see him able to test the waters. If he goes there and is a success, then staying will appeal to him even more so, or he could even view it as a high profile chance to show Liverpool he really does deserve a shot.
Inter currently sit 10th in Serie A after six games, but just four points off a Champions League spot.
