Sheffield United have confirmed their starting line-up for their Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash with Hartlepool 24 hours early.
Sheffield United have confirmed young striker Diego de Girolamo will get his first start for the Blades on Tuesday night.
Manager Nigel Clough has taken the unusual step of naming his team for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy game with Hartlepool a full day in advance.
De Girolamo, 18, is an Italian youth international also eligible to play for England, who struck a hat-trick for the under-21 side last week.
He was even linked with moves to Arsenal and Juventus in April, with The Independent claiming both sides are monitoring the attacker.
This is all despite the fact he is yet to start for Sheffield United, making only a couple of brief appearances in off the bench.
Clough's team is as follows: Iain Turner, Ben Davies, Chris Basham, Harrison McGahey, Bob Harris, Jamal Campbell-Ryce, Louis Reed, Stephen McGinn, Diego De Girolamo, Chris Porter, Jose Baxter.
Subs: Michael Doyle, George Willis, Neill Collins, Marc McNulty, Jamie Murphy.
