We bring you the latest news from Celtic and Rangers...
Negotiations have begun for Kris Commons to sign a new contract at Celtic.
The midfielder has less than a year remaining on his deal, but Ronny Deila has confirmed that he wants to stay at Parkhead and they are now talking about new terms for him to sign.
"We have good dialogue now about this," he told the Scottish Evening Times. "That is going forward all the time.
"Kris wants to stay and we want to keep him and I think that is the most important thing, so things will be arranged."
Deila happy with Denayer
Ronny Deila says that he is happy that Jason Denayer has been called up to the Belgian squad after his impressive form for Celtic.
Despite the Bhoys; struggles, Denayer has been one of their better performers and Deila clearly believes his call-up was reward for his displays.
“Jason has been fantastic,” he told the club's official site. “He was good against Hamilton as well so I was happy for him to get the call-up.”
Former Rangers youth backs Macleod for success
Former Rangers youth-team player has backed Lewis Macleod to make a success of his career.
Dylan McGeouch, who came through at Ibrox at the same time as Macleod but now plays for Hibernian, says that Macleod's talent was obvious from a young age and he is not surprised to see him making such a big impression.
"I played with him in the youth team, although I think Lewis is a year younger," he said to the Evening Times. "I've known him for a few years, I always thought he was a great player. He's doing really well just now so it's good to see young boys getting a chance."
