Arsenal linked striker Vucinic has scored 10 goals in 5 games

Mirko Vucinic

Should Arsenal have taken a gamble on Mirko Vucinic this summer?

Mirko Vucinic was released by Juventus in the summer, and after a number of links elsewhere, landed up signing for UAE side Al Jazira.

The Montenegro international has had an incredible start, scoring 10 goals in his opening five matches for the club, including two hat-tricks, report GulfNews.

In January Vucinic was reported to be signing on loan with Arsenal from Juventus, after a move to Inter fell through, but that also failed to materialise.

While the standard of football in the Emirates is a far cry from playing at The Emirates Stadium in North London, Vucinic is certainly showing his class, and why a European club should have taken a bigger interest in his services this summer.

At 31-years-old, the ex-Roma forward still has plenty to offer, as shown during his early form.

Arsenal may have options without him, but was it a bad call not to see what he could do, even as a free agent his summer?

Ask yourself this question, Mirko Vucinic, or Yaya Sanogo?
