Manolo Gabbiadini decided the game for Sampdoria against Atalanta, adding to his season tally and showing why he is wanted by Tottenham.

Rising striking star Manolo Gabbiadini scored his third goal of the Serie A season to decide Sampdoria's clash with Atalanta and encourage Tottenham they should make a move in January.

Spurs are reportedly keeping an eye on the gifted marksman, who is 50 percent owned by Juventus and 50 percent owned by Sampdoria.

Juventus have an abundance of strikers and may be willing to sell Gabbiadini despite his current form, but Sampdoria are likely to provide more resistance.

Plus Spanish giants Atletico Madrid are said to be lingering in the hope that they can lure him in the January transfer window.

Gabbiadini has helped Sampdoria make a strong start to the season. They are currently unbeaten and the crucial moment against Atalanta came on 35 minutes when Gabbiadini beat the offside trap and ran onto a ball from West Ham linked forward Pedro Obiang to cooly find the net.

It was a sweet moment for the 22-year-old who was playing against his former side.

The second half was somewhat bitty and ill-tempered but once again a single moment of excellence from Gabbiadini proved enough for Samp.
