Tottenham Hotspur morning news: 'No regrets' for Pochettino as Koeman slams his reception

White Hart Lane 5

A round up of news stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino says he has no regrets over moving to the club.

The Argentine guided Spurs to a key win against former side Southampton yesterday.

“I have no regrets about my decision. It is done, I’m happy to be here and happy with the three points today,” said the boss.

Ronald Koeman has slammed Southampton fans for the lack of respect they showed Pochettino at White Hart Lane yesterday.

Saints fans jeered Pochettino at various points throughout the game.

“That's the reaction of the fans. I don't agree. Everybody deserves respect. Normally respect is high in the Premier League,” said the Saints manager.

The Daily Star claims Spurs are interested in Anderlecht winger Andy Najar.

The 21-year-old impressed at the World Cup in Brazil earlier this summer and is being linked with a potential switch to Spurs.

Reports suggest he is also being tracked by clubs in Spain and Italy.
