French giants Paris Saint-Germain are expected to sell off unsettled Uruguayan international Edinson Cavani but fans don't think he would be a sensible signing.
Club legend Jerome Rothen has suggested that Cavani is on his way out, stressing that he won't be able to live with being second fiddle to Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Cavani is struggling at PSG but that may not stop one of Arsenal, Liverpool or Manchester United swooping in and meeting his valuation of around £50 million.
Cavani joined PSG from Napoli in 2013 for £55 million but he hasn't quite delivered the kind of results expected of him.
The 27-year-old has scored 19 times in 35 games, but that record isn't as impressive as the 78 in 104 games that made him a superstar for Napoli.
Although almost every major club in England has been linked with Cavani at some point of late, it remains to be seen whether any of the potential suitors are willing to meet his price tag. If they listen to French football fans, they probably won't.
