Cesc Fabregas looked delighted as he posed with his Chelsea man of the match award against Arsenal.

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas was all smiles after his man of the match performance against former club Arsenal.

The Spaniard was superb in his first Premier League start against his old team, leaving Arsenal fans asking why Arsene Wenger overlooked the chance to re-sign him earlier in the summer.

Fabregas posted a picture of himself after the game, with his man of the match award while he relaxed at home with family.

“Chilling at home with the family after a hard match,” read the description.

Fabregas has settled back into life in the Premier League easily but the trick for him is how he reinvents himself once he’s challenged by sides with new tactics which find ways to mute his influence.

He’s a key player for this Chelsea team and likely to be at the heart of any success the Blues have as they go hunting the Premier League and Champions League titles over the course of the season.
