Papiss Cisse has hailed the Newcastle United fans as the best in England and has urged them to maintain their faith in the team.
Cisse’s goals in the 43rd and 75th minutes saw Newcastle hold the Swans to a 2-2 draw at the Liberty Stadium.
Newcastle are currently third from bottom in the league table with just four points from seven points, and pressure has increased on manager Alan Pardew.
A section of the club’s fans have called for the club to sack Pardew, who has a contract that runs until 2020.
The players have backed their manager, and Cisse has now urged the club's supporters to keep on cheering the team and retain their belief.
‘In England, Newcastle fans are the best fans’, he told nufcTV. ‘I know it's hard for the players, for the gaffer, for the fans but I just say 'keep going and believe.' This team is for the Newcastle fans. Believe in the players and it will come good, because the team works for this’.
Cisse struggled with poor form last season and with injuries at the start of the 2014-15 campaign, but he has scored four important league goals for Newcastle in just three appearance already.

Newcastle are one of only two sides yet to win a Premier League match this season, but with Cisse on form the Magpies will be confident of picking up all three points against Leicester City at St James’ Park on Saturday October 18.
