Manchester City latest: Defender exit talk; Christmas TV fixtures announced

All the latest news, views and transfer rumours from the Etihad…

Manchester City could sell Matija Nastasic to Roma in January according to reports.

The Daily Star claims the Italian club want to bring the central defender to Italy after he fell down the pecking-order at the Etihad Stadium.

With Eliaquim Mangala, Vincent Kompany and Martin Demichelis all ahead of the Serbian at the Blues, it is highly likely he will be on his way sooner rather than later. In fact it is being claimed that when Roma played City in last week’s Champions League group match, they told the Premier League champions they would be back for Nastasic early next year.

In other news, BT Sport have announced the matches they will be televising over the festive period.

The two City games that will be shown around Christmas are the Blues’ matches against Crystal Palace (on December 20 at 12:45pm) and Sunderland (on January 1 at 3:00pm)
