Leeds United fans react to Adryan's Under-21 display - "A class above"

Brazilian playmaker Adryan played for Leeds United Under-21's tonight, and fans were full of praise for his performance against Doncaster.

Leeds United have made an underwhelming start under new manager Darko Milanic, particularly considering how well Neil Redfearn fared in caretaker charge of the Whites. The Slovenian has overseen two draws and a defeat since arriving from Austrian side Sturm Graz last month, scoring only once in that time - compared to three wins in four under Redfearn following the sacking of previous boss Dave Hockaday.

One of the biggest complaints Leeds fans have had so far is the continued absence of Brazilian playmaker Adryan. The 20-year-old joined on loan from Flamengo this summer with a big reputation, given his eight goals in 14 games for Brazil Under-17's, and landing a player compared to Kaka was seen as a huge coup for Leeds.

Yet he's still to feature in a game for Leeds, with fans questioning why given that Milanic has been shoehorning more conservative midfielders in to the No. 10 role behind two strikers - a role that Adryan is perfect for.

Tonight, Adryan was given the chance to impress as he started for Leeds Under-21's against Doncaster Rovers, and he played a key role in the Whites' 6-0 win. With a goal and an assist to his name tonight, Leeds fans are once again calling for Adryan to start against Rotherham United a week on Friday.

With that in mind, here are a selection of tweets from Leeds fans on Adryan's performance tonight.
