Harry Redknapp is confident former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Sandro will improve.
QPR boss Harry Redknapp says he needs to get Sandro up to speed for the club to start improving.
The Brazilian was a £10 million deadline day signing from Tottenham, but is yet to show his best form for the newly promoted side.
Redknapp blames this on Sandro not being fully match sharp, telling the BBC:
"Sandro, he's not the player I know, he needs to get fit.
"He was a fantastic player at Tottenham for me.
"I need to get him marauding, covering the ground for 90 minutes."
The 25-year-old was making only his second Premier League start of the season against West Ham, a 2-0 defeat.
The international break appears to be coming at the right time for the club, and Sandro in particular.
Improvement will be expected, not just hoped for, when QPR face Liverpool on October 19.
